Montgomery Police Patch

Welcome to the Town of Montgomery Police Department!

On behalf of the men and women of the Town of Montgomery Police Department, It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Town of Montgomery Police Department Web Page.  I am consistently proud of the work that is performed everyday by the officers and support staff of your police department.  Their good work is confirmed on a regular basis by the many letters, e-mails, and phone calls that I receive from citizens recognizing the high quality of the service that they provide.

Now More Than ever it is of the utmost importance that we as a department stay committed to the concepts of “Community-Based Policing.”  During these difficult financial times it is very important to engage our community in order to sustain the myriad of services that we provide on a localized level.

We will continue to have law-enforcement challenges so it is imperative for us to remember the guiding principles of Operational Efficiency, Intelligence Lead Policing, Community Partnerships and Crime Prevention.  These four basic principles will assist us in identifying the most up-to-date policing practices and the most effective community policing strategies.

In closing, I would like to offer my personal thanks to all of the members of the Department who did excellent work and give their time and talents, which greatly contributes to our success and professional reputation.  We look  towards the future and ask for your continued confidence and support.  Please feel free to contact my office or any of the officers at any time, and let us know how we are doing or how we can better serve you.

 Thank You,
Arnold W. Amthor
