The Town of Montgomery has begun the process of updating the Town of Montgomery 1988 Comprehensive Plan and is looking for volunteers to serve on a committee to be part of the process.
A Comprehensive Plan is the “blueprint” for our community. It will outline future physical growth, anticipated trends, and identify economic opportunities while addressing changing needs relating to public health, social equity, cultural diversity, environmental protection and regional trends which may impact the Town over the next ten years and beyond.
The first step is to establish the Comprehensive Plan Committee. The committee will be comprised of neighborhood representatives and community leaders. In particular, the Town Board is seeking individuals with experience to include, but not limited to, recreation, community design, economic development, environment, housing, education, historic resources, infrastructure, or transportation.
The Town Board of the Town of Montgomery thanks the residents of the Town for their dedication and commitment to service.
